Sabres in SWORDS!

Learn the lost art of old Polish Sabre Fencing with Jerzy Miklaszewski of Silkfencing Team, a leading international expert in this style.

Over these two days you will learn Polish sabre fundamentals and practice them to build your skills for free fencing.

This is Jerzy's second Irish seminar and is suitable both for beginners and those with previous experience. This is planned as one of an ongoing series of seminars in Polish Sabre in Ireland as a resource to help Irish sabre fencers to continue to develop their skills and take them to the next level.

Venue:
Rivervalley Community Centre, Rivervalley, Swords,County Dublin, Ireland.

The outline schedule is:

Polish Sabre Fundamentals - required for beginners. Optional if you have previously attended one of Jerzy's sabre seminars:
Registration at 9.30AM PM
10AM - 1PM Saturday 4th March

Main Seminar:
Registration at 1.45PM
2.15-5PM Saturday
10-1PM & 2.15-5PM Sunday 5th March

Event fee: €90 (if attending for only a single day €55).

Equipment needed:
- Please bring a fencing mask if available.
- Synthetic Silkfencing Team sabres will be provided for the first 20 people to register. People registering after that will be provided with canes, if they do not have an alternate training weapon. So get your registration in early!

Discounts:

A special Early Bird rate of €85 applies for bookings received by midnight February 4th.

There is a €5 discount for participants in Jerzy's previous Irish seminar in Autumn 2016.

There is also a €5 discount for current members of HEMA Ireland.

All of these discounts are cumulative, you can save on them all.
